Yesterday was Wednesday. It was just another normal Wednesday, we got married again, this time in a registry office in the UK in our local town hall which overlooks Wembley stadium.  The day was everything you want from a UK wedding; wet, drizzly, grey, so England, so London.  We’ve been married since July but wanted to get registered somewhere that would give us a lovely wedding certificate in nice crisp English. Hooray.

The day before that, on Tuesday, we had finally gotten through our appointment at the US Embassy in London. Our visa’s had been approved and the dream was becoming a reality.  Just as I got home and looked online for flights and [im]possible accommodation was when the difficult reality of it struck. Oh well.

What other perfect antidote is there to reality than starting a new web-log to justify a few procrastinatory blogging hours…?

The ‘about this blog‘ section at the top is my true triumph for the day, so go and have a read of it, while praying that this writing will get more interesting. Its time for dinner, which is probably why it isn’t so happening right now! !

Right now we’re trying to secure some temporary accommodation for when we arrive, as well starting to pack and writing our goodbye letters to the student loans company and the bank.  When we arrive I won’t be allowed to work until a $350 work permit is processed after 90 days, so there’ll be plenty of bloggertunities.

salut! tchuss!
